The EGEE Project Technical Forum (PTF) has responsibilities in three areas: service APIs, requirements, and technical relationships with outside organizations. By design the group contains representatives from all activies and is intended to be a forum where a consensus on technical issues can be forged.
Formalities The PTF Mandate contains the detailed responsibilities for the group.
The PTF membership covers all of the project activities.
Meetings occur approximately monthy and are usually held at CERN.
EGEE Services EGEE Services are deployed as web services and defined by WSDL files.
Requirements Requirements are managed in a central database and prioritized by the PTF.
Testing Testing is done within several activities; JRA1 and NA4 maintain a test suite which tests basic requirements and use cases.
External Organizations Links to the various organizations which affect the EGEE software design, through requirements, standards, or the like.
