Overview The Quattor Working Group aims to provide the tools necessary to install, configure, and maintain LCG2 software using Quattor. The Grid Deployment Board web pages contain the group's full mandate.
Contacts Discussions occur on the Quattor and Quattor working group lists; joining both is highly recommended. (See the CERN Simba instructions for doing so.) You must be a member to post to the lists. Contact the chair if you're having problems.
Quattor Quattor is a modular set of tools to install, configure, and manage machines. This group provides the templates and configuration components necessary to use Quattor for the LCG2 software.
Documentation and Download A set of pan language templates contains the Quattor configuration information for LCG2/gLite. There is a set of these templates for each release of the LCG2/gLite software. All the documentation about the templates, how to download them and how to use them is available on LCGQWG Wiki.

Templates A set of pan language templates contains the Quattor configuration information for LCG2. There is a set of these templates for each release of the LCG2 software. Details can be found on the configuration templates page.
Components The configuration of a client machine is translated into a set of configuration files and actions by a "configuration component", essentially a structured perl script. A set of these components are maintained for the LCG2-specific services. The components web page contains a list of the available components.
