Overview |
The Quattor Working Group aims to provide the
tools necessary to install, configure, and maintain
LCG2 software using Quattor. The Grid
Deployment Board web pages contain the group's full
mandate. |
Contacts |
Discussions occur on the Quattor and Quattor working
group lists; joining both is highly recommended. (See the
CERN Simba instructions for doing so.) You must be a member
to post to the lists. Contact the chair if you're having
problems.
|
Quattor |
Quattor is a modular
set of tools to install, configure, and manage machines.
This group provides the templates and configuration
components necessary to use Quattor for the LCG2
software. |
Documentation and Download |
A set of pan language templates contains the Quattor
configuration information for LCG2/gLite. There is a set of these
templates for each release of the LCG2/gLite software.
All the documentation about the templates, how to download
them and how to use them is available on LCGQWG Wiki.

Templates |
A set of pan language templates contains the Quattor
configuration information for LCG2. There is a set of these
templates for each release of the LCG2 software. Details
can be found on the configuration
templates page. |
Components |
The configuration of a client machine is translated into
a set of configuration files and actions by a "configuration
component", essentially a structured perl script. A set of
these components are maintained for the LCG2-specific
services. The components web
page contains a list of the available components. |
